1. Read up

The stats are the reason why we are here. Gender expansive people are underrepresented in almost all areas of the music industry. There are barriers that prevent women and gender expansive people from being represented. Update yourself and find out what we are dealing with here.

2. Make use of Keychange assets

Take part in the Keychange Manifesto and get acquainted with our suggestions for a gender balanced music industry. Find out more about gender definitions in our FAQ:s. Explore our code of conduct on how to officially approach people with various genders. And contact us if you want gender expertise on a panel or a media show.

3. Advocate

Take gender balance into account in your public advocacy and influence from your position and platform.

4. Nominate

Do you know of underrepresented talent? Is your favourite festival or concert house still not gender balanced? Would someone in your circuit make a fantastic Keychange Ambassador? Take action and nominate!

5. Become an Ambassador
