Claire Edwardes is a world-renowned virtuoso percussionist playing repertoire that covers the gamut of contemporary music from orchestral to chamber and includes a number of world premieres. She's won three APRA Art Music awards and her battery of instruments range from the minute; finger cymbals and whistles and so on to massive sets of bells, gongs and drums. Claire is artistic director of Ensemble Offspring who are constantly searching for new material and ways to present it; all of which can be found at their next Kontiki Racket festival in Sydney.
