With the expected launch of Reeperbahn Festival’s 2024 Keychange Study next week, we take a look at the 2021 study that it follows on from. Gender-specific discrimination and negative attitudes are prevalent as it reflects on the barriers and stereotypes that women and gender-diverse individuals face. The 2024 report will further take an in-depth look at the German music industry and we look forward to the analysis of comparative developments in the latest study. From the state of women in leadership positions, and junior staff, to the compatibility and balance of family and work, it will strive to include both quantitative and qualitative data for a holistic approach.
