As we look forward to announcing our 2022 programme participants soon (keep an eye out on our socials!), we briefly ponder on the mentoring aspect of the Keychange programme – and its benefits. Research shows that not only is it fruitful to connect, the tapping in to expert knowledge and confidence gained plays a direct role in knowing how to traverse the world of earnings. ‘The Women in the U.S. Music Industry: Obstacles and Opportunities’ report found that 60% of mentored women earned salaries that were 8 percentage points higher than those without mentors!
