We take a look at some more numbers today from the Musicians’ Union report ‘For the Love of Music’. It must be remembered that gender parity in the workplace also plays a significant part in creating safer spaces, to work towards a culture free from sexual harassment. Many musicians are not only discouraged from reporting instances of sexual harassment due to the workplace culture, but also other repercussions, losing out on jobs seen as a trouble maker, not being believed and more. This no doubt extends to all sectors of the music industry.
