Today saw the launch of the Keychange 2024 report ‘Study on gender diversity in the German music market’ at Reeperbahn Festival, an expanded follow up to the 2021 study. The study, commissioned by the Reeperbahn Festival and conducted by Kantar, takes an intersectional approach whilst providing an in-depth analysis of developments in the market and focuses on the situation of women and gender diverse (FLINTA*) managers and junior staff as well as the compatibility of family and career. We are spending this Friday reading and reflecting on the findings. And it makes us think – how would similarly focused reports in different territories look?
