Guitar database, Find My Guitar, researched the top 21 guitar brands and found that only 5.8% of signature guitars made are from women musicians. This is not only lacking in visible representation (something we will look at later today as to why), but also the acknowledgement of the physical attributes of a guitar. Accounting for the differing physiques between genders, hand size, to straps and breasts (smart phones and car seat belts, anyone?!) to how this also provides pace for creativity and perspectives.
