The gender pay gap is an all-pervasive issue and no industry is left untouched by this. According to Eurostat (2018) Estonia has the biggest gender pay gap in Europe, standing at 22.7%. “For the economy as a whole[1], in 2018, women's gross hourly earnings were on average 14.8 % below those of men in the European Union (EU-27) and 15.9 % in the euro area (EA-19).”
