Irish radio station, Spin 103.8 (which reached gender parity in its Top 20 Radio playlist) overtook FM104 as the number 1 radio station in Dublin! Increasing growth in audience, this demonstrates that there is need and want for diverse programming. It is bizarre to us the resistance to proactive diversity – despite the evidence that shows that this is good for business! Well done to the radio stations that not only look to diversifying their airplay, but also for recognising the benefits of this.
