Today we take a positive from UK Music’s latest Diversity Report which saw a significant rise in recent years of women in the music industry. Of course, while it is great to see the increase – the safety of women and gender diverse-individuals in the industry is paramount, as well as the progression and development opportunities available, and the continuing issue of the gender pay gap.

Additionally, consistent research highlights the importance of tracking change and identifying where specific issues lie, so that best practice and recommendations can seek to address these gaps.
