Abram Wilson Foundation

The Abram Wilson Foundation's (AWF) purpose is to inspire, connect and open doors to the music industry so that diverse young talent has an equal chance to realise their creative potential.

Founded in 2012, its aims are to ensure equal access to music for diverse and disadvantaged young people who can’t access music outside of school; equip young people with transferable skills and self-belief and help to support the future of music in the UK.

Since 2015 AWF has successfully reached nearly 10,000 students in deprived areas with performances and approximately 600 participants with more than 480-hours of workshops in London and Birmingham partnership with Hackney Empire, Church of Sound, Premises Studios, National Maritime Museum and THSH.
