Biggy Pop is a one woman enterprise, run by Birgit Reuther. She is a freelance journalist, copywriter and presenter specialising in pop culture. Based in Hamburg, Germany, Birgit Reuther writes for the daily newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt and the magazine of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, among others. For public radio station NDR she presents the talk music format Nachtclub Überpop, which deals with the relationship between society and pop culture. She also writes press and B2B texts for record companies, musicians, bands and institutions. She publishes a blog about pop culture on www.biggypop.de and DJs from time to time on the club barge "Frau Hedi" on the Elbe river.
