Kat Frankie
Originally from Australia but based in Berlin, singer-songwriter and producer Kat Frankie has released 3 LPs and toured extensively throughout Europe, Australia, Turkey and Korea. Known to be a dramatic and dynamic live performer Kat has a reputation as a powerful singer and captivating stage presence. After her last release "Please Don’t Give Me What I Want” - a well-praised mix of a cappella loops and melancholy chamber pop - Kat took a 4 year hiatus from her own projects to collaborate with others. This resulted in the founding of synth-pop duo Keøma (which she also produces and plays bass for); she scored the soundtrack for Jan Böhmermann’s TV show (with Get Well Soon); toured as a guitarist in Olli Schulz’s band; recorded the duet “Wenn Du Liebst” with respected german singer-songwriter Clueso and also accompanied him on the road this summer. Kat released her fourth album Bad Behaviour through Grönland records in 2018.
