There is no end of pictures to describe this enchantress’ universe. JOSIN’s music is gauged by its silence, by the nature of its pauses. It is measured by its plotted intensity, not far from an electronics waiting to spit its power out. Minimal and organic, it unleashes its loud non-chaotic viscusness, with a hybrid and bipolar melancholy. Her mother is Corean, her father German. Josin was born in Cologne, in the spotlight of two opera singers as parents. German is her mother tongue – the Corean does not follow, but brings her admirable exotic features. As a child, she moved to the South of France. Her tongue then learns the French language and later on takes back its Germanic form when JOSIN ends her studies in Hamburg.
