ICELAND

I grew up in Germany and lived for 10 years in Hamburg, where I worked for many years in the University Library, before starting to study Cultural and Media Management. For this study, I did an internship at Iceland Music Export in 2013. During that time I decided to stay in Iceland, and I got the offer of working for Iceland Airwaves Music Festival. I did this in 2014+2015, then I also worked for Sonar Festival in Reykjavík and Copenhagen (2015+2016) and the Secret Solstice Festival (2015). Next to that I always did many other projects, I worked for Sofar Sounds from 2014-2017, organise a singer/songwriter festival called Melodica Festival, working for the label Bedroom Community to organise an arts festival called Breiðholt Festival (2017) and helped several musicians with booking gigs or connecting them with music industry. In 2017 I started to manage a Belgian band called Illuminine, as well as working for a company called Iceland Sync, where I started as the sync manager, but now also work as the artist manager, doing the international management.
