The return of the latest report from Annenberg Inclusion Initiative means that we can take another look behind the scenes and the early stages of the songwriting and production process. Sobering statistics still continue in the dire representation of women producers. What is quite intriguing also, of the 185 individual women nominated, 49.7% were white and 50.8% were underrepresented women… but we think you should read further and dig deeper into songwriting credits, race representation, genres, engineers and more, to get the wider picture, here.
