Friday Figures - 12 May

We head over to the world of streaming in Poland today to take a look at the gender breakdown of the top 10 most streamed songs – and while we are at it, why not also look at the most streamed artist from Spotify Poland too?

PL:“Z podsumowania wyraźnie widać, że dominują mężczyźni. Do pierwszej dziesiątki najbardziej streamowanych artystów w Polsce od 2013 roku z kobiet załapała się jedynie sanah.”

EN: “It is clear from the summary that men dominate. Only Sanah is among the top ten most streamed artists in Poland since 2013.”

As always, the numbers are stark. And also brings to question many things, promotion, marketing, algorithms, transparency in these areas and so much more. We will just let you chew on these figures for a bit and let us know of any further thoughts…
