Today we take another look at the Women in the Mix survey report (from The Recording Academy®, Arizona State University and Berklee College of Music Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship) which also points out that alongside gender, ageism is also a discriminatory factor in the career progression of women and gender minorities. The survey itself looks at a wide range of factors beyond gender that leads to barriers and discrimination, such as race, education attainment, how individuals accessed the industry, parenthood, pay gap and more.
