This week saw the launch of new report Progressing Gender Representation in UK Dance Music by the Jaguar Foundation. Unsurprising and frustratingly, when looking at trends from festival line ups, radio and streaming to the UK dance music charts and more – the report used quantitative and qualitative research to highlight gender disparity and equality, whilst safety and safe spaces also continue to be of concern in the UK dance music scene.
