Seeing as we are in Dublin this week, let’s take another look at the WhyNotHer? report which looks at radio airplay on Irish radio stations. Alongside the usual figures of underrepresentation of women and gender diverse artists, it points many other issues such as the lack of exposure of local musicians, with international acts dominating the airwaves (78% in the top 100!).
