Following on from the previous figure in the Musicaction survey, when ranking the most positive influence for career advancement, network/networking came first. Or as we prefer to call it, community. Mentoring also ranked highly as part of solutions to combat barriers to the music industry – both aspects of which Keychange proactively support and implement through the network of Keychange pledge signatories for collective action, as well as the Keychange programme which allows for expanding participants’ networks, mentoring and more.
