Following on from the previous figure, how effective can strategies be for gender balance? In the same report from The Creative Independent, of the respondents, although “44% of industry professionals reported that their organization had a protocol in place for discrimination, but when there was a protocol in place, 85% said that it was followed.” This shows that proactive strategies CAN work if they are fully implemented where “enacting discrimination and sexual harassment policies—which, when in place, are highly effective—and investing in diversity and inclusion training”.
