From the lack of women winning major awards at the Grammy’s, to Wireless Festival’s failure to book more than five female acts for their line-up last year. While it may feel like feminism is making progress in the post-Weinstein world, it seems that music executives are yet to get the memo. In 2018, only 19% of acts performing at the world’s biggest festivals were women. But all hope is not lost.
