Riverfest Elora to hold in-person concerts, but on a much smaller scale

Riverfest Elora is bringing live music to in-person audiences for the first time since the pandemic started, but the audiences will be significantly smaller than past years.

Organizers describe it as a "mini-festival", which will take place for three days in the Yard at the Elora Centre for the Arts, where Riverfest first began in 2009.

Normally, the festival is a three-day outdoor event with approximately 7,000 people in attendance, along with 55 bands ready to perform.  But this year, only 430 tickets will be available for each day in socially distanced boxes of four, and 11 bands are going to be able to perform.

Special performances from Kardinal Offishall, Haviah Mighty and Barr Brothers will take place during the festival.
