We continue a deeper dive into the Keychange Impact Evaluation report and see how it has facilitated participation on the programme. It takes into consideration the Keychange programme itself and priorities beyond gender. While Keychange started with a focus on gender equity, it is increasingly taking a more intersectional approach to be more inclusive and sensitive addressing wider inequalities in the music industry and barriers to entry, including, but not limited to, ethnic diversity and race, disability, age or parenthood. In the case of this particular statistic, ensuring parenthood isn’t a barrier to participation through providing bursary top-up for care.
