The Why Not Her? Collective is back with its fourth annual analysis of the top 100 most played songs on Irish radio and the top 20 playlisted songs by domestic Irish artists. With airplay having central power in impacting artists and their livelihoods, The Gender Disparity report takes a crucial look at what this means, not only for women and other intersections, but also the domestic market and local talent exposure (or lack thereof). Next week, we will dive into it a little more, but we will let this statistic with you for the time being.
