Misogyny in the workplace has many interconnecting layers, from sexual abuse and inappropriate comments, to being overlooked for promotion, judged on appearance versus competence, or your ability to do tasks because of your gender, and indeed held to a higher standard when compared to male counterparts. We look back at the 2021 Keychange Study delivered by Reeperbahn Festival which assesses Germany’s music industry workforce and music market, and how gender discrimination plays out in its many forms.
