Euradio

Euradio is an independent community radio that has been broadcasting on FM in Nantes (France) since  2007, and all over Europe and worldwide on www.euradio.fr and on audio streaming platforms.

Since 2018, euradio has branched out onto DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting) in several cities in  France : Lille, Lyon, Strasbourg, Rouen, Le Havre, Saint-Nazaire, La Roche-Sur-Yon, Paris, Marseille,  Nice, Bordeaux and Toulouse, covering an area of 20 million people at the end of 2020. euradio will  soon reach the cities of Tours, Orléans, Rennes and Angers.

euradio is also intended to spread to other EU member states. This European deployment came true  in 2019 when euradio took up a digital frequency in Brussels, Belgium.

euradio is the first independent radio station in France to bring a wide range of content on a European  level. euradio’s mission is to make European affairs accessible in order to :

- Inject dynamism, open up debates, promote exchanges and establish links - Inform people about the role that European issues play in the daily lives of European citizens  in cities and territories across the continent

- Share ideas and experiences from all around Europe

- Raise expectations of the European project

- Train a new generation of journalists to focus on the grand scheme of Europe.

Across the airwaves, euradio offers a unique perspective : through its dual focus — local and European  — it sets up a dialogue between news from the local area and news from across Europe.

euradio brings the listeners European diversity on a daily basis : a range of different accents and  languages from across the continent ring out on air.

The sonority of our music programmes takes the audience on a journey : from Portugal to Sweden,  playlists are packed with new discoveries, shedding light on artists from the European independent  music scene.

Paying particular attention to the issue of gender equality, euradio has aired as many female artists as there are male artists, since September 2020.
