Europavox

Europavox was born in 2006 with an unprecedented cultural and civic project aimed at promoting the richness and diversity of the European music scene. Since its creation, the festival has welcomed more than 500 groups of 30 nationalities, in front of an ever-growing audience curious about these artistic discoveries.

Co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union, Europavox Project continues to develop at a European scale in many forms:

  • Music festivals in 7 countries: Austria (Vienna), Belgium (Brussels), Croatia (Zagreb), France (Clermont-Ferrand), Italy (Bologna), Lithuania (Vilnius), Romania (Bucarest).

  • An online magazine: www.europavox.com, dedicated to European musical diversity, with a cosmopolitan editorial staff of more than 20 journalists, and reaching more than 600,000 people per month.

  • Cultural and civic event projects (25 years of Erasmus, Music Europe Day, Music Day at the Elysée Palace, European Youth Event…).

All year long, Europavox artistic team and journalists based all over Europe select hundreds of bands, thus helping European music talents to spread their songs all over the continent. This selection process focuses on both quality and diversity criteria, including gender equality as a key component.
