Fabrica Femina
Fabrica Femina is a European women’s networking initiative, hosting residencies, performances, and professional roundtables across the continent. With the support of Fondation la Madeleine, Fabrica Femina organises and hosts an annual, fully supported invitational residency and conference at Studio la Madeleine in southern France.
The residency explores the intersections of women’s music and poetry, providing women musicians with the opportunity to collaborate in a creative environment, free from the transactional pressures that often accompany studio work weeks.
Fabrica Femina also invites music industry professionals who support women in music to gather in this magical setting for networking and roundtable discussions. Our mission is centred on community building. In partnership with other residencies, organisations, venues, and networks across several European countries, Fabrica Femina expands these opportunities through hosted roundtables and live performances.
