Pink Wafer Media
Pink Wafer is a live events promotion and publishing organisation. Since 2018, Pink Wafer has promoted over 40 events, featuring over 120 artists, the majority of whom come from underrepresented groups. Pink Wafer's live events at venues across the north of England have featured artists from genres spanning jazz, to hip-hop, to punk, to folk, and beyond.
Pink Wafer also publishes a blog. After a brief stint publishing a free print magazine - which was forced to stop during the pandemic - the publication has moved entirely online. The blog explores the far reaches of music, delving into sub-genres from around the world, shining a light on lesser-known emerging artists, as well as providing music industry insight and advice for aspiring artists.
