SPIC MACAY Europe
SPIC MACAY Europe is a non-profit and non-government organization consisting of volunteers working across the globe to promote Indian Classical Arts primarily amongst the youth.
Who are we?
- Founded by Dr. Kiran Seth, Professor-Emeritus at Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi who was awarded the 'Padma Shri' (India's third highest civilian award) for his contribution to the arts in 2009
- We have a database of more than 200 Indian artists who are legends in the fields of classical arts - music, literature, dance, crafts etc. (they are recipients of prestigious awards such as the Sangeet Natak Academy award, Padma awards and various international accolades including the Grammy Awards)
- The Europe Chapter is officially registered in Netherlands and has chapters in Germany, the Netherlands UK, Denmark, France and Italy (Our Global Chapters pan out in multiple continents)
