Jamz Supernova

Jamz Supernova is from South East London and is of mixed heritage, with Jamaican, Irish and Cuban influences. Jamz hosts 3 weekly shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra - every Tuesday night from 10pm she brings you the latest in “Future RnB”, and each Saturday and Sunday from 1pm Jamz provides the soundtrack to your weekend. As well as her DJ and radio work, Jamz has carved a reputation as having an outstanding ear for new music and nurturing talent, for which her regular club night “Future Bounce” has become the go-to spot, including an upcoming regional UK tour showcasing emerging local talent alongside exciting headliners. Sam Gellaitry, Dornik, Seinabo Sey, Lion Babe, Little Simz, Sasha Keable, Toddla T, DJ Semtex, Tala and Rome Fortune have all invited Jamz to warm up for them, and since making her festival debut at Bestival in 2014, Jamz has since played at V Festival, Parklife, Annie Mac's Lost & Found, The Great Escape, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Lovebox, Bestival and Glastonbury to name a few.
