For more than 15 years Katharin Ahrend has been working with full energy and conviction to create and maintain sustainable and equal spaces for music, art and subculture – as a a cultural manager, curator and cultural-political consultant in the field of social justice, urban development and club culture. At the Clubcommission Berlin, she heads the Awareness & Diversity department and the show case festival Day of Club Culture. In the beginning of the pandemic, Katharin has been one of the initiators and programmers of the global campaign United We Stream. 

She completed her master's degree in cultural management and has since worked in this profession for various festivals and cultural projects such as the Artlake Festival, the Feel Festival or the Alte Münze cultural center in Berlin.
