Mirca Lotz
Mirca Lotz (she/they) is a diversity consultant and curator specializing in interdisciplinary formats, driven by a passion for breaking creative boundaries, creating social impact through events, and fostering communities. They have been an advocate for gender equality and diversity in music for many years: as an innovator as part of the Keychange project,, co-founding musicBYwomen* and Music Women* Germany networks, and fostering connections among nationwide networks through the online event "Network the Networks."
Through their IDE agency, "Safe the Dance," Mirca has collaborated with organizations and events such as Tresor Club, Berlin Music Commission, and Deichbrand Festival to create safer spaces, always prioritizing intersectionality. 2023 she co-founded #musicmetoo Germany a platform combatting discrimination and gender based violence in the music industry.
Mirca is a sought-after speaker on IDE topics at international conferences, the past including Primavera Sound, Breakout West, Reeperbahn Festival or MENT festival among many others. They also hold the position of senior program manager at Most Wanted: Music, a Berlin-based conference and festival, and are a member of queer:raum, an LGBTIQ+ collective of creatives from Munich.
