SUNESIS
Melisa Blomberg is SUNESIS - 'Music For Space Stations'; Independent artist born in Buenos Aires and living in Barcelona since 2016, Singer, songwriter and producer of synthpop with space overtones (Spacewave). Although she has been in multiple musical projects since she was 16 years old, on May 22, 2020 she released her first EP as Sunesis: Music For Space Stations. She has worked on multiple collaborations and 'features' with international artists such as Vosto, Donbor, Turbo Knight, Emmett Brown and has published several singles throughout the years. She mostly produces with hardware synthesizers.
Sunesis has performed in various venues in Spain since 2018. Last March 2022, she was selected to perform at Casa Bonay organized by Shesaidso.Spain, MutekES and the British Council. In May 2022, Sunesis performed at Espai Jove La Fontana dressed as an Alien from the Star Wars Universe under the context of the celebration of the 45th years of the saga! Last October, she performed at a Shadowrun themed event (Cyberpunk/Fantasy event).
Sunesis is the co-creator of the 'Electric Synthicate' Collective (artists from Spain based on music with synthesizers). She feels proud to have created a community of artists (musicians, photographers and designers) and she's always thinking of innovative ideas to make the collective more known.
