What does it mean to nominate?
More than 600 festivals and music organisations around the world have committed to creating a gender balanced future for our industry. We need your help to share our movement with the industry’s decision makers. Your nomination is an opportunity for us to reach out.
Why should I nominate a music organisation?
Women and gender minorities are underrepresented in almost all areas of the music industry. Through the Keychange Pledge, we are doing our utmost to address and rectify this problem. We want all music organisations to know about it, and we want you to help us by nominating them.
How does it work?
Your nomination will be used to spark positive, engaging conversations with the nominees. We will explain the movement, invite them to take part and offer support and guidance if they choose to take part. We won’t share information of who submitted the nomination, nor their reasons for doing so.
What happens next?
An organisation that signs the Keychange Pledge will commit to achieve gender balance by 2022. We will help them with this commitment, and they will also become part of the Keychange network. Your nominee will be highlighted alongside our other signatories, and will help us in spreading the idea of our movement from their platforms.
Nominate
You can nominate music organisations that have expressed an interest in improving representation within their workforce. You can also nominate those that don’t currently consider gender equality to be a matter of importance.
We’re happy to reach out to everyone!
