The Mckinsey ‘Women in the Workplace’ report with LeanIn.org looks extensively at the US workforce. Whilst these figures are from a corporate perspective, we know the trends to be a reflection of the wider world – and the numbers continue to be stark a year and a half into the pandemic, especially for women of colour. Although it started off with a gender focus, Keychange continues to recognise other intersectional approaches to be just as crucial and look to incorporate this where possible in our work. And when we talk about visibility and representation, it must be filtered top down for faster and more effective change!
