“A total of 899 individuals were nominated for a Grammy Award between 2013 and 2018. 90.7% of those were male and 9.3% were female.”
A self-explanatory figure just goes to show that from prominent award shows (that have the platform to lead by example) to considering behind the scenes and contexts of such numbers, the music industry has a long way to go. But we are on it!
