UK music promotion and booking agency True North Music is a one-woman grassroots venture run by Maria Wallace, and specialises in Americana, bluegrass, folk & roots music. Maria has hosted over 50 gigs in Yorkshire since 2015 and since expanding into booking work, True North Music has brought top flight roots music artists to hundreds of venues and festivals across the UK. Both in programming and tour booking, achieving a fair level of gender parity is a high priority to True North Music, and Maria has met and consistently exceeded the 50:50 target in both her programming and booking roster every year.
