Mabel Alonso
Born and bred in a small village in Galicia. Mabel has 20 years of experience in the cultural sector. Her love for creativity, social justice and equality gave birth to Son Canciones in 2014. Another kind of music is possible. This is the motto under which she and her business partner, Lieven, have been organizing concerts and recordings in unusual places in Barcelona, where they are based. In all projects they apply common values: parity, diversity, and environmental and social sustainability.Mabel considers herself a deeply committed activist dedicated to breaking down barriers to equal participation and social inclusion in music.
